Display run description - The Safe Haven for Bergen Hash House Harriers

Go to content

Where?
The run starts approx. 8 kilometres by car from the City Centre (see map below).

How to get there?
Either try to hitch a ride with a local hasher or take the tram. A few buses stop in the general area, but travelling by tram is the easiest way to get to the start of the run although it does include a 1.2 kilometre walk. Catch the tram from 'Starvhusgaten' next to 'Byparken' (the City Park) in the City Centre (or any other tram station for that matter). Alight at 'Hop', the 13th stop from both the City Centre and Airport. Turn right as you get off the tram, walk to the end of the platform and past the bus stop, cross the main road and turn right again. After approx. 250 metres cross the road at the traffic-lights and turn left into 'Troldhaugvegen'. Follow the pavement for approx. 540 metres until it crosses over the main road on a pedestrian bridge. Leave 'Troldhaugvegen' approx. 275 metres after the bridge and turn left into 'Hopsåsen'. After a short climb, you will find the hares abode on the right-hand side of the road.
