Run #1235 - Wednesday 30 December 2015
  • Destination: Vågen
  • Hare: Bubbles
  • In the pack: Foggy Glasses, Comes Every Time, Deep Throat, Muff Diver, Guinea Pig, Check Me Out, Teacher's Pet, Kangooclit, Wet Finger and Tweeny
  • Your scribe: Foggy Glasses

Despite some rather inclement weather, a small band of hardy hashers turned up for the very last run in 2015. In fact, the hare claimed that because the police had recommended people staying indoors due to the weather, he had not had the possibility to mark the trail and would be a Live Hare. The runners were sent on their way on an unmarked trail whilst the joggers and walkers followed the hare. The first drink stop at "Vågen Pub" was reached after a short stroll.

The hare had us up and running again before the drink stop could be declared a double drink-stop. A split on the trail had the runners scurrying on an unmarked trail whilst the walkers/ joggers followed the trail to the second drink stop at "Three Lions". The hare managed to lose his bag of flour at the pub and the pack had to help him find it again before we could continue to the third and last drink stop at "Huset Pub".

The whole pack was punished in the circle for various indiscretions. One hasher, Foggy Glasses, was celebrated with a whisky down-down having completed all 64 BH3 runs in 2015 (get a life!).

The evening was rounded off with some excellent warming nosh, washed down with beer and whisky.

ON-ON to 2016!
