A nice, warm summer evening, Bergen being the warmest place in Norway with a temperature of 21.5°C, saw 19 hashers, including two visitors from the Killer Hill weekend, turn up for run #1262.

ON-OUT was called after a quick chalk-talk, the hare having informed us that for once she had not laid a run with a theme. The trail took the pack up paths to Fjellveien and further ON-UP the mountain before heading back down to Fjellveien again. Most local hashers were pretty sure that the mobile refreshment stop would be at Mon Plasir, but the hare had us scampering up a meadow on the mountain side of Fjellveien, for a relaxing gin and tonic (and ice lolly) stop.

The trail took us on a meandering route down to Sandvikstorget and ON-ON to a virgin drink-stop at the Fisheries Museum. Having enjoyed the nice view of Byfjorden (City Fjord), we headed for Skuteviken and ON-ON to another virgin drink-stop at Bryggen Tracteursted.

After a relaxing drink-stop in the mild summer evening, a short trail took us to us back to the ON-INN, circle followed by some excellent nosh.
