A slightly less-than-average sized pack made it to the western environs of Bergen to participate on Headless' first try as hare, ably supported by Guinea Pig. Being the warmest day so far this year with temperatures reaching 23.6° and Thursday being a public holiday, probably kept some hashers otherwise occupied.

ON-ON was called and the trail took us in the general direction of Alvøen before heading towards the lake Alvøyvannet on a forest road. At Vassenden the trail took us onto a forest trail heading north alongside the lake. A mobile drink-stop in the area of Gullaksdalen was very welcome in the warm afternoon. After ON-OUT was called, the trail took us through some old industrial remains from 1625-ish and ON-ON to a second mobile (vodka) drink-stop.

The remainder of the trail was mostly on forest roads back to the car park. After a short drive to the hare's abode, the circle was held in the garden with a great view of Byfjorden before the evening was rounded off with nosh washed down with beer and some vodka.
