Run #1426 was Deep Throat's Hashy Birthday run, and 24 Hashers including two virgins made it to the start to help celebrate the hostess' three score and ten years birthday, that is to say 25 hashers completed the run one having joined up somewhere on the run.

With two trails on offer, one hot and flustered for the runners and the other calm and comfortable for the walkers, the chalk-talk was rather rambling (the kitchen staff and hares had enjoyed a few gin-n-tonics before the run, not to mention the bubbly that was on offer to fortify the pack for the long run).

A meandering trail lead the pack from the hare's abode in the direction of Nordnes for a promised mobile refreshing gin-n-tonic stop. A group photo of the Harriettes was taken in front of "Heksesteinen" (The Witch Stone) where 350 witches were burnt between 1550 and 1700, before the pack finally found the long-awaited refreshment stop.

Having drunk up all the goodies, the trail headed back into town and the first split where the runners headed off over the fish market and ON-ON in the direction of Sandviken. The walkers headed for Bryggen and ON-ON to the second drink stop at "Barbarrista". Due to some excellent planning by the hares, the runners and walkers arrived at the pub more or less at the same time.

After a short while, ON-OUT was called and the pack headed out into the winter night with the runners heading uphill at the next split whilst the walkers headed towards Lille Lungegårdsvannet. After a short stroll, the pack arrived at the third and final drink stop at "Huset Pub".

As it was getting rather late, the stop was just one beer long. A short stroll saw the pack back at the hare's abode for the circle where the usual punishments including a teabag for Teacher's Pet's brand new shoes, were handed out by the R.A.

The evening was rounded off with what must be the best curry in town, washed down with an unending amount of liquid refreshments.
